Designed by AB and crafted with specialist makers. This is how a piece comes to life.

Six stages, one standard.

    Design

    Every piece begins in the AB studio as a drawing and a precise specification: proportion, profile, weight and finish.

  2. 02

    Material selection

    Metals and stones are chosen to the specification of each design, and described exactly on the product page.

  3. 03

    Making

    Specialist makers bring the design to life in precious metal.

  4. 04

    Setting

    Where a piece holds stones, each is set to the design's specification.

  5. 05

    Polishing

    Surfaces are finished to the intended texture, from high polish to satin.

  6. 06

    Inspection

    The finished piece is checked against its specification before it is sent.

A note on making

Honest about who makes our jewellery.

AB designs every piece and writes its specification. Manufacturing is carried out by specialist makers we work with. We are open about this because it is how a great deal of fine jewellery is made — and because the people who make our jewellery deserve the credit.
